[UPDATED] Provincial Health Office of Benguet Open on Nov. 21, 22, and 23



An Advisory “On Temporary Restricted Access between Baguio City and the Municipalities of La Trinidad, Tuba, Tublay, and Sablan” has been issued by the City Government of Baguio yesterday (Thursday), November 19, 2020. The restriction is to be implemented starting November 21, 2020 until December 4, 2020.

Following this advisory, the Province of Benguet has also released an Advisory “Re: Travel Restrictions imposed by the City of Baguio to all residents of the Municipalities of La Trinidad, Tuba, Sablan and Tublay” which was signed by Benguet Provincial Governor Melchor Dicas earlier today (Friday), November 20, 2020.

“For the orderly implementation of the travel restriction in our borderlines, all affected Benguet Residents are advised to bring along with them the travel requirements during their travel to Baguio City,” stated the Office of the Governor of the Province of Benguet in the advisory. And to accommodate Benguet residents, the Provincial Health Office of Benguet will be open on November 21, 22, and 23, 2020.

“Relative to the travel requirement specifically the Medical Certificate to be issued by the Municipal Health Office (MHO) and the Provincial Health Office (PHO) with the exception of Tuba resident who may secure Medical Certificate at the Barangay Health Office (BHO), the Provincial Health Office (PHO) of the Province of Benguet will be open on November 21 (Saturday), 22 (Sunday),and 23, 2020 (Monday-Holiday for Benguet) to accommodate affected Benguet residents.”

  • Valid ID
  • Physical Presence

Other Things you Need to Know

  • The Provincial Health Office (PHO) is located at the back of Benguet General Hospital (BeGH) at Km 5, Pico, La Trinidad
  • According to the Benguet Public Information Office, medical clearances are free
