Mayor Magalong Orders Lockdown Over Purok 14, Lower Cypress of Barangay Irisan for Contact Tracing


Following the confirmation of a COVID-19 case from Barangay Irisan, Mayor Benjamin Magalong, through Memorandum No. 86, series of 2020, ordered lockdown over Purok 14, Lower Cypress, Irisan effective today, June 18, 2020 until further notice.

According to the EO, the said area needs to be placed under lockdown in order to conduct contact tracing and to ensure the safety and security of those who may have been in contact with the COVID-19 patient.

What does this mean for the residents of the three barangays under lockdown?

  1. The use of Home Quarantine Pass/Mall & Market Schedule is hereby suspended.
  2. To access basic necessities, residents may proceed to their satellite market or available rolling stores or coordinate with their Barangay Officials.
  3. Exit and entry to the barangays are restricted to APORs and those with medical emergencies.


Aside from Purok 14, Lower Cypress, Barangy Irisan, Barangay Lopez Jaena and two puroks of Poliwes Barangay are also under lockdown relative to the two new other cases recorded today.
