Three Barangays on Lockdown in Baguio City for Contact Tracing Purposes


After a taxi driver tested positive for COVID-19 last Friday, June 12, 2020 and additional two new cases were recorded in Baguio City yesterday, June 13, 2020, three barangays have been placed under lockdown as ordered by Mayor Benjamin Magalong.

In order to conduct contact tracing and to ensure the safety and security of the people who may have been contacts of the three new cases, Barangays Honeymoon-Holyghost, San Vicente, and Upper Q.M. were immediately placed under lockdown effective June 12 and June 13, 2020 respectively.


What does this mean for the residents of the three barangays under lockdown?

  1. The use of Home Quarantine Pass/Mall & Market Schedule is hereby suspended.
  2. To access basic necessities, residents may proceed to their satellite market or available rolling stores or coordinate with their Barangay Officials.
  3. Exit and entry to the barangays are restricted to APORs and those with medical emergencies.
