New COVID-19 Case Confirmed in Baguio City

A new COVID-19 case has been confirmed yesterday by Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong. The new patient is a 32-year old male and a resident of South Central Aurora Hill. He has a known exposure to the COVID-19 patient John Delinger Batulan last June 2, 2020.

The new COVID-19 patient is currently in an asymptomatic condition. Contact tracing, disinfection, quarantine, and other medical measures are currently being implemented, according to the City Mayor.

This brings the total number of known infected cases in Baguio to 36. As of this announcement, the total number of active cases is 5. The total number of patients who recovered is 30.

Based on the latest data provided by the City Government of Baguio, there are 97 possible cases. There are also 141 active suspected cases.
