Persons Aged Below 15 or Over 65 are Allowed to Participate in Permitted Activities
The Public Information Office of the City of Baguio on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, has released an advisory informing the public that all persons aged below 15 years old or over 65 years old are allowed to participate in permitted activities, tourism-related ones included.
This was based on the Executive Order No.10 series of 2021, Prescribing General Community Quarantine (GCQ) Guideline, which took effect on February 1, 2021. Below are more details.
Activities Allowed for Persons Aged Below 15 or Over 65
- Participation in permitted undertakings
- Availment of essential goods or services and medical attention
- Reporting for work in permitted industries
For Minors Aged below 15 Years Old
- These are subject to conditions that minors aged below 15 years old are accompanied by parents or guardians at all times
- While that they are engaging in permitted activities
- And that they are not to enter enclosed crowded places where the number of persons exceeds more than 30 percent of the place’s capacity:
- Groceries
- Markets
- Supermarkets
- Cinemas
- And similar premises
- They are allowed to enter public parks, playgrounds and other open spaces with their parents and guardians
- Entrance in private parks and open spaces are subject to the rules of their respective managements

For Over the Age of 65 Years Old
Employees who are immunocompromised, pregnant, or over the age of sixty-five (65) may not be assigned to client-facing tasks and duties and shall be prioritized to avail of alternate work arrangements.
