Lockdown on Two Puroks of Barangay Honeymoon and Purok 14 of Lower Cypress now Lifted


Baguio Mayor Benjamin Magalong released separate memorandums lifting the lockdown orders of two areas in the City of Baguio after contract tracing was completed.

Puroks 1 and 2 of Barangay Honeymoon

Under Memorandum No. 87, series of 2020, the lockdown over Puroks 1 and 2 of Barangay Honeymoon was lifted effective June 20, 2020.

Previously, the barangay has been placed under lockdown after a 60-year-old male taxi driver from the area tested positive for COVID-19.


Purok 14, Lower Cypress of Barangay Irisan

On the other hand, effective today, June 22, 2020, the lockdown order of Purok 14, Lower Cypress, Irisan is now also lifted as per Memorandum No.88, series of 2020.

Purok 14 of Lower Cypress was placed under lockdown on June 18, 2020, after a 30-year-old female service crew also tested positive for the virus.

In view of the lifting of both lockdown orders, residents of the said areas are reminded to continue abiding by Baguio City’s Modified General Community Quarantine(MGCQ) rules and regulations.
