How to Donate to Flood Victims Using GCash
Many individuals and families in our country have recently been stricken by Ulysses; lives have been taken and homes have been flooded and destroyed. Flood Victims in Cagayan, Metro Manila, and other parts of the country are in need of helping hands in these trying times and we can extend our help with just a few taps on our phone through trusted mobile wallet apps such as GCash.
“GCash is one with the efforts in extending assistance to those in need, with just a few taps on your phone, you can now give to make a difference today,” stated the app in one of their Facebook post published on Thursday, November 12, 2020.
How to Donate to Flood Victims Using GCash
STEP 1: Log In to Your GCash Account
Open your GCash app and log in to your account by entering your four-digit MPIN. If you don’t have GCash yet, download the app in either of the following stores: Google Play, App Store, Huawei App Gallery; register; and get verified.
STEP 2: Tap “Pay Bills”
On your GCash dashboard, tap “Pay Bills.”
STEP 3: Select “Others”
After tapping the “Pay Bills” option, you will see all the “Biller Categories” available. Among the categories, select “Others.”
STEP 4: #TulongCagayan or #UlyssesPHAid
Under the “Others” category, look for either #TulongCagayan or #UlyssesPHAid to help raise funds.
STEP 5: Fill in Name and Amount
Fill in “Name” (the sender’s name), and “Amount” (the amount you wish to donate), then tap “Confirm.”
