Baguio City Records 2 New COVID-19 Cases

Baguio City has 2 new COVID-19 cases and both have been found to be asymptomatic, this is according to Mayor Benjamin Magalong.

The first patient that was found to be positive of COVID-19 is a 28-year old female with a history of travel to San Fernando, La Union last May 26, 2020. She is currently residing at City Camp Central. According to the report she is asymptomatic but her chest x-ray revealed suspicious pneumonia.

The second patient on the other hand is a 25-year old male from Apugan, Kennon Road. He does not have any travel history or travel exposure to COVID-19. He likewise does not exhibit any symptoms thus his condition is regarded as asymptomatic.

Contact tracing has already started and the Mayor has also directed to expedite disinfection, isolation, and patient management.

The City Mayor is asking the public to be extra vigilant.

These two new cases bring the current total number of COVID-19 patients in Baguio City to 4.
