UP Baguio Study Shows 9 Baguio Barangays Remained Cases Free for 30 days



In the post of the University of the Philippines Baguio (UP-Baguio) Facebook page, for 30 days or from October 10, 2020, to November 9, 2020, nine Barangays in the City of Baguio has recorded no new cases.

Nine Baguio Barangays

Here are the following Baguio Barangays that have no active and confirmed cases logged for 30 days according to the study of UP Baguio:

  • Barangay Atok Trail
  • Barangay DPS Area
  • Barangay Ferdinand (Happy Homes-Campo Sioco)
  • Barangay Upper Magsaysay
  • Barangay Kabayanihan
  • Barangay Malcolm Square-Perfecto (Jose Abad Santos)
  • Barangay Pucsusan
  • Barangay San Roque
  • Barangay South Drive

Also, among the nine Baguio Barangays mentioned above, two barangays have never recorded any case which are Barangay Atok Trail and Barangays Upper Magsaysay.

In addition, recorded cases among the nine barangays with confirmed cases, most of the case are:

  • Asymptomatic
  • Had no travel history
  • No comorbid conditions

This map shows the distribution of confirmed cases listed per barangay in Baguio starting from October 10, 2020, to  November 9, 2020. And, the green shaded areas are the nine Baguio Barangays with no new logged cases for 30 days.

Furthermore, the following information is from the ongoing study with the title “Exploratory Data Analysis of Baguio City COVID-19 Cases Daily Updates” of the UP-Baguio led research team that has been in partnership with the Baguio City Health Services Office (HSO) in recording daily updates to interpret and map out the COVID-19 data of the city since March 2020.
