UP among the 500 Best Universities in the World 

According to the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2021 which was released on September 2, 2020, the University of the Philippines (UP) was among the top 500 universities in the world.

UP remained in the 401-500 bracket.

In addition, more than 1,500 universities from 93 countries and regions are included in the THE World University Rankings 2021. 

Philippine Universities in the List

Aside from UP, De La Salle University (DLSU) made it to the list of top universities in the world. The two universities were the only Philippine universities that were included in the list.

Furthermore, DLSU is in the 1000+ bracket.
