The US is Encouraging Medical Professionals Seeking Work to Apply for Visa

Amidst the devastation brought about by COVID-19. The United States is encouraging medical professionals to apply for a visa in the US in a work or exchange visitor capacity. The press release was also specific in mentioning that they are encouraging medical professionals particularly those who are currently working to treat or to mitigate the effects of COVID-19 to apply for visa.

Those who are interested are told to reach our to their nearest embassy or consulate to request a visa appointment.

This call is also open to medical professionals who are already in the United States to extend their program in the US. J-1 Alien Physicians may now coordinate with their program sponsor in order to extend the validity of their visa.

Right now the United States is also in the middle of fighting the COVID-19. The number of cases is rising daily with 68,440 cases as of March 26, 2020 according to CDC
