Baguio City has recorded eighty (80) recoveries, thirty-seven (37) new cases, and three (3) fatalities on Thursday, October 22, 2020. This update was provided by the Public Information Office of the City of Baguio yesterday evening through their monitoring.

      • Due to chest pain, dyspnea, and shortness of breath
    • The patient is a smoker
    • Swab was done on October 15, 2020

    • Died on October 20, 2020
    • Final diagnosis:
      • Confirmed COVID-19
      • Acute Respiratory Failure
      • Myocardial Infarction
      • Acute Kidney Injury
  • 65 Years Old, Male
    • Symptoms started October 5, 2020 as fever and cough
    • Swabbed (as a close contact) October 15, 2020
    • Admitted at BGHMC
    • Died on October 21, 2020

    • The patient is known hypertensive and diabetic

    • Admitted at Pines City Doctors Hospital on October 18, 2020 as a case of hemorrhagic stroke (no respiratory symptoms) scheduled for surgery
