Lockdown order implemented immediately in some areas in Quezon Hill and Pinsao Baguio City

After the initial evaluation of the contact tracing team of Baguio City, the Mayor has implemented a lockdown order in several areas in Quezon hill and Pinsao.

The contact tracing team has reported that a patient had close contacts in these areas. The purpose of the lockdown is to ensure the safety and security of the persons who may have come in contact with the new case. In addition, the lockdown will help facilitate contact tracing efforts.

Areas in Lockdown

• Purok 2 and 3 Barangay Middle Quezon Hill
• Pontano Compound, Purok 6 Barangay Pinsao Proper

As a result of the lockdown, the protocols provided in the Memorandum 144 series of 2020 shall take effect.
As always the public is reminded to always practice the minimum health standards set by the IATF and the local government of Baguio.
