Liquor Ban Lifted in Baguio City…However
Baguio Mayor Benjamin Magalong signed Executive Order No. 106, series of 2020 lifting the temporary ban on the sale and distribution of liquor and other alcoholic products in Baguio City effective 8:00 AM tomorrow, July 4, 2020.
Prohibited
As stated in the executive order, consumption of liquor and other alcoholic products in the following public places is prohibited:
- Public Parks
- Sidewalks
- Alleys
- City Roads
- Waiting Sheds
- Store Fronts
- Areas and other than private residences or permitted food retail establishments
- Bars
- Nightclubs
- Cocktail lounges
- Beer gardens
- Other establishments whose principal line of business consists of the sale of alcoholic beverages and liquors of any kind to be used or consumed within its premises.
- Follow public health standards
- Observe social distancing
- Proper Hygiene
Furthermore, the following will remain closed.
Penalty
Violators may face sanctions and penalties under City of Baguio Ordinance No. 1, series of 1990 and other applicable laws and ordinances.
