La Trinidad COVID-19 Cases Down to Zero


Here’s a great news! La Trinidad, Benguet is now COVID-19 free as announced by the Mayor’s Office – La Trinidad official Facebook page. The two remaining COVID-19 cases within the municipality have already been discharged from the Benguet General Hospital as of today, May 26, 2020.

As stated in the Facebook post published by the Mayor’s Office – La Trinidad, Beng. Gov. Melchor Diclas, MD, BM Juan Nazarro, La Trinidad Mayor Romeo Salda and BeGH Chief of Hospital Dr. Meliarazon Dulay are the ones who have sent off the said recovered COVID-19 patients.

May the achievement of the Municipality of La Trinidad serve as an inspiration or the rest of the country. Let us all continue to follow the existing guidelines and protocols being implemented by the national and city government and time will come, we’ll also be able to free our community from the threats brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
