How to Renew PRC ID in Baguio City







These are the requirements and steps for the Renewal of Professional Identification Card (PIC) provided by the Baguio City Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Office.

Requirements to renew PRC ID

Here are the following requirements needed to renew your PIC:

  1. Online application.
  2. Renewal Form with signature.
  3. 2×2 picture with white background.

Original and Photocopies of Documents

Prepare the original and photocopies of the following:

  • Certificate/s of accredited training/seminar/ conference
  • Other supporting documents for evaluation.

Renew PRC ID with No CPD Compliance

For Renewal with no CPD compliance, affix signature on the Undertaking template embedded in the Renewal Form.

Representatives Transacting on Behalf of Licensees

If the representative is a PRC License Holder:

  • Authorization letter signed by Licensee; and
  • Photocopy of Professional Identification Card (PIC) of representative

If the representative is a Non-PRC License Holder: 

  • Special Power of Attorney; and
  • Photocopy of any valid ID of representative

Overseas Filipino Workers

For Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), they are exempted if they can present any of the following:

  • Valid Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC)
  • Existing/Valid Work Contract

Notes:

  • OEC EXEMPTION shall be supported by Work Visa or Existing/Valid Contract.
  • Student/Tourist Visa shall not be considered for exemption.
  • OFWs not practicing profession but able to present requirements shall be exempted. (Eg.: Professional Teacher working as Caregiver).






Additional Requirements as Prescribed by Respective  Boards

These are the additional requirements as prescribed by respective boards: 

Aeronautical Engineer 

  • Certificate of good standing from the Society of Aerospace Engineers of the Philippines. Inc. (SAEP).

Agricultural and Biosystems Engineer 

  • Certificate of good standing issued by PSAE.

Architects 

  • Certificate of good standing/official receipt issued by the UAP.

Customs Broker 

  • Certificate of good standing issued by the CCBI.

Electronics Engr/Prof. Electronics Engr./Electronics Technician 

  • Certificate of good standing from IECEP.

Geodetic Engineer 

  • Certificate of good standing issued by the GEP.

Guidance Counselor

  • Certificate of good standing issued by the PGCA.






Interior Designer 

  • Certificate of good standing issued by the Philippine Institute of Interior Design (PIID). 

Landscape Architect 

  • Certificate of good standing issued by Philippine Asso. of Landscape Architects (PALA). 

Librarian 

  • Certificate of good standing issued by the Philippine Librarians Association, Inc.

Psychologist/Psychometrician 

  • Certificate of good standing issued by the Psychological Association of the Philippines (PAP). 

Registered Electrical Engineers/RME/PEE

  • Certificate of good standing issued by the IIEE/ IIEE lifetime membership card. 

Respiratory Therapist

  • Certificate of good standing issued by the Association of Respiratory Care Practitioners, Philippines (ARCPP). 

Real Estate Practitioners 

  • Notarized Certificate/s of Attendance to Accredited (15 CPD Units) program/s administered by accredited provider/s; For Salesperson, 10 CPD Units and photocopy of Real Estate Broker’s PIC
  • For private practitioners: Indemnity Insurance/Cash or Surety Bond of Twenty Thousand Pesos (P20,000.00). 
  • For permanent/regular government employees: Certificate of Employment.






Steps of the Renewal of Professional Identification Card

These are the following steps on how to renew your PIC:

Step 1

Log in to any of the following:

Read the PRC Website’s User Guide.

Step 3 

For Existing Account:

  • Click Sign-in

For New Account: 

  • Click Register and complete the required information, save and upload a 2×2 ID picture in white background.

Step 4

Select the Renewal Transaction.

Step 5

  • Select PRC Baguio City Office on the PRC Branch.
  • If you wish to change the system-generated schedule, click Reschedule.

Note: No same-day appointment policy. Transact only at the indicated appointment place.

Step 6

Choose the payment option and screenshot your receipt or payment confirmation.

UCPB

Over-the-counter at any UCPB branch. Validation of payment will be within 2-3 working days.

Landbank

Via Landbank Link BizPortal (ePayment Portal) using any of the following payment options:

  • Landbank ATM Cards
  • Bancnet Member-Bank’s ATM / Debit Cards
  • Globe GCash

PayMaya

  • Via PayMaya thru Mastercard, VISA, JCB ( Debit/Credit Cards) and Pay by PayMaya (with PayMaya Accounts).

Note: For PayMaya Load Wallet payment option, you will be re-directed to their website for the processing of payment.

Step 7

Print the Renewal Form.

Step 8

Proceed to the selected PRC Office on your appointment date to submit form/requirements.





Clients Who Are Not Able to Go in the Baguio PRC Office

From the PRC Baguio Registration, for clients who are not able to go to the Baguio City PRC Office, PRC Baguio can process the renewal online and they can send the Professional Identification Card (PIC) via courier.

PRC Baguio is now accepting the delivery of Professional Identification Card (PIC) using a two-way/prepaid pouch. Clients may coordinate with any of the following:

  • JRS Express
  • W Express
  • ABest Express
  • Any available courier that offers 1-pounder two-way/prepaid pouch
