FDA Warns Public Against the Purchase and Use of Several Unauthorized Cosmetic Products

Through numerous separate advisories posted on their official Facebook page on Friday, January 22, 2021, the Food and Drug Administration Philippines (FDA Philippines) has warned the public from purchasing and using several unauthorized cosmetic products.

According to FDA, the said cosmetic products show no valid Certificate of Product Notification (CPN). And since the products have not gone through the notification process of FDA, the agency cannot assure their quality and safety.

Furthermore, the agency also stated that the use of such violative products “may pose health risks to consumers.” Below are some of many unauthorized cosmetic products the FDA has recently warned the public about.
