Cordillera has 46 Active COVID-19 Cases as of June 14, Including 7 New Cases
The Department of Health-Cordillera Administrative Region (DOH-CAR) has reported seven (7) new cases in the region as of 12:00 NN of June 14, 2020.
- 1 in Apayao
- 2 in Benguet
- 4 in Kalinga
Here’s what we know about the COVID-19 cases in CAR so far:
New COVID-19 Patient in Apayao
- 37-year-old male from Flora, Apayao who is in stable condition
- First case recorded in the Municipality of Flora
New COVID-19 Patients in Benguet
- 46-year-old male from Itogon, Benguet who is in stable condition
- 49-year-old male from Bakun, Benguet who is in stable condition
New COVID-19 Patients in Kalinga
- 22-year-old female and is in stable condition
- 25-year-old female and is in stable condition
- 36-year-old male frontline who had close contact with a confirmed case and is in stable condition
- 38-year-old male frontliner who had close contact with a confirmed case and is in stable condition
Furthermore, according to the COVID-19 Regional Update from the DOH-CAR, the exposure or travel histories of these 7 new COVID-19 patients are still for verification.

Active COVID-19 Cases in CAR
On the other hand, from 26 last Friday, June 12, 2020, the total number of active cases in the Cordillera Administrative Region is now 46.
The region has Ninety Four (94) confirmed cases, including the active cases, recovered cases, and death. Forty-six (46) of which are active COVID-19 cases while Forty-seven (47) have already recovered from the disease.
NOTE: As per DOH-CAR, One (1) case is reflected in Cordillera (Baguio) since the agency’s reporting is based on the place of residence but the said patient is admitted in NCR.
UPDATE AS OF JUNE 15, 2020 at 3:00 PM
After a new case has been recorded in La Trinidad, Benguet today and based on DOH-CAR’s Regional Update at 12:00 noon, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in CAR is now 95, 47 of which are active cases, another 47 are recoveries and 1 death.
