The cold mornings and evenings are here, in Baguio City morning temperature can drop to about 13 degrees celsius, which is, of course, cold considering the fact that it is located in a tropical island, the Philippines. The Philippines celebrates Christmas for the longest time, usually 4 months starting from the month of September. This long celebration would, of course, reach its peak during the month of December.

The celebration of the Christmas season in Baguio City kicks off with the Silahis ng Pasko parade and the Lantern Parade in the evening which will also coincide with the lighting of the Christmas tree and a fireworks display.
