CAR Records 2 More COVID-19 Cases from Apayao and Benguet

In addition to the 51-year old patient who has tested positive of COVID-19 in Baguio City, two more patients from the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) have been added to the list of confirmed cases today.

According to the daily update of the Department of Health Cordillera (DOH-CAR), here are the details regarding the two patients:

a 28-year old male from Kabugao, Apayao. He is a resident of Sitio Malabanig in Barangay Lucab and has no travel history outside of Kabugao; and
a 30-year old male from Benguet

Both cases are asymptomatic. Further details on the cases will be updated on this post as it is made available by local authorities.

COVID-19 Cases in CAR

As of date, the additional confirmed COVID-19 cases in Apayao and Benguet brings their total number of active cases to four (4) and thirteen (13), respectively. In the Cordillera Administrative Region, one hundred and thirty-six (136) COVID-19 cases have been recorded, with twenty-six (26) patients currently admitted in facilities, one hundred eight (108) recoveries, and two (2) deaths as of July 11, 2020.
