Benguet Records 39th COVID-19 Case Today
The Provincial Health Office and Provincial Department of Health (DOH) Office confirmed that the Province of Benguet has a new confirmed COVID-19 case today, July 2, 2020.
Details of the New COVID-19 Case
- A 34-year-old Male construction worker who came from Saudi Arabia and a resident of Km. 21 in the Municipality of Tublay.
The new COVID-19 patient arrived at the Benguet General Hospital (BeGH-TPQF1) from Manila last June 30, 2020. And he has complete documents showing he tested negative for COVID-19 and he has also completed the required days of quarantine.
According to the staff of BeGH-TPQF1, the new case was re-swabbed on the same day he arrived at the facility. The result of his test was released today and the result was positive for Sars-Cov-2, the virus that causes the COVID-19 disease.

The Province of Benguet has now a total of 5 active COVID-19 cases.
