Benguet Opens 5th Facility with 160-Bed-Capacity



The 5th Benguet Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF5) in the Province of Benguet will be open starting today, December 21, 2020 (Monday).  This is located at the Help English Language Program Incorporated (Concordia College) located at Longlong-Lamtang Road, La Trinidad, Benguet.

The newly opened facility has 160 beds allocated for patients in the province according to Provincial Rural Health Physician Dr. Jocelyn Legaspi.

“The Help English Language Program Incorporated (Concordia College) located on Longlong-Lamtang Rd., La Trinidad, Benguet will be serving as the 5th Benguet Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF5) starting December 21, 2020.”

Also, the new facility in the province will be used for the admission of asymptomatic and with mild symptoms patients.

Furthermore, according to the PIO-Benguet EOC post, the Help English Language Program, Inc. and Oplan Kalinga inked a Memorandum of Agreement earlier for the use of the said facility until January 3, 2021.

“However, Ms. Vicky Bautista, a board member of HELP, said the agreement will be renewed until June 7, 2021,” PIO- Benguet added.
The TTMF5 will be managed by the Provincial Local Government of Benguet with the assistance of the Department of Health (DOH).
“The PNP will also be assigning personnel to augment the security requirement of the facility,” PIO- Benguet added.
