Barangay Lockdown Updates in Baguio City

List of Actively Locked Down Barangays from BCPO

[UPDATE AS OF  MAY 12, 2020, 8:45 AM]

After a new case has been recorded in the city of Baguio, Mayor Benjamin Magalong has issued Memorandum 60, Series of 2020, placing Barangay Dontogan immediately under lockdown.

According to the memorandum, the barangay needs to be placed under lockdown for the conduct of an efficient contact tracing to and to ensure the safety of those who may have been in contact with the latest COVID-19 case, Major Rafael Baldado Roxas from Camp Crame and a resident of Dontogan.

As residents will not be allowed to leave the barangay except for Authorized Persons Outside Residences (APORs) and those with medical emergencies, they can access necessities from satellite markets or rolling stores or coordinate with their barangay.

Mayor Magalong, through Memorandum 54-2020, has lifted the lockdown orders over Purok 1 Camp 8 Brgy., San Luis Extension, Sector 5, Dominican-Mirador Brgy., Sitio Sto. Nino, Bakakeng Central, Teacher’s Village, Sto. Tomas Proper, and Woodsgate Subdivision effective 8 AM yesterday, May 10, 2020.

According to the mayor, based on the reassessment done by the city’s contact tracing teams, it’s no longer necessary to place the said areas under lockdown.

On the other hand, effective at 8 AM today, the lockdown over BGH Compound is also already lifted after being cleared based on reassessment done by the composite team on contact tracing.

  • Woodsgate Subdivision, Camp 7 Brgy
  • Purok 1 Camp 8 Brgy.
  • Teachers Village, Sto. Tomas Proper Brgy.
  • Sitio Sto. Nino, Bakakeng Central Brgy.
  • Sector 5, Dominican-Mirador Brgy.
  • BGH Compound Brgy.

NOTE:

  1. No one is allowed to leave their respective Barangays EXCEPT Authorized Persons Outside Residences (APORs).
  2. Rolling markets will serve barangays on lockdown as residents will not be allowed to go out of their barangay even during their market day schedule.

For the residents of Baguio City barangays under lockdown, please abide by the lockdown restrictions. While the lockdown in these areas in effect, let us all hope and pray that this COVID-19 pandemic will soon come to an end. But until then, let’s cooperate and follow the guidelines and advisories imposed by our city and national government for everyone’s safety.
