The Baguio City Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) will be launching a one-stop-shop on Social Amelioration Program (SAP) in order to cater to more qualified beneficiaries.
Pilot Testing of SAP One-Stop-Shop
Pilot testing of the one-stop-shop will be done in Barangays Asin Road, Bakakeng Central, and Gibraltar on April 29, 2020, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Qualified beneficiaries who were not given financial assistance in the barangay pay-outs will be assessed and evaluated.
Councilor Michael Lawana said, “The main purpose of the One-Stop-Shop is to capture and cater all eligible beneficiaries for the SAP. Authorized representatives of DSWD, DOLE, DILG, CSWDO, barangay, Accounting Department, and office of the Mayor will be on-site to make sure that all clients will be served judiciously.”
The councilor also said that possible beneficiaries will undergo final validation on-site and that the release of the cash assistance will be scheduled at the soonest possible time. Hence, starting today, April 27, 2020, all families who may qualify for the SAP are advised to visit their barangay halls for the assessment.
Aside from the assessment process, all clarifications, complaints, and suggestions from residents will be handled through a grievance area.
Schedules of SAP One-Stop-Shop
The schedule per barangay for the SAP One-Stop-Shop will be announced after the pilot test in the three barangays.
As the assessment and validation processes continue for SAP beneficiaries, Coun. Lawana asks applying residents to fill up forms honestly and to cooperate during interviews.
