Baguio residents and tourists woke up to a chilly morning as the temperature in Baguio City dropped to 11.2 °C today, January 31, 2020. In the past week we have seen the rise in the temperature and just when we thought that the days of chilly mornings are over, the cold winds visited the city of Pines once again.

Last year on January 29, 2019, the coldest temperature was at 9°C. The coldest temperature that was experienced in Baguio City was at 6.3°C in January 18, 1961. January is indeed the coldest month in Baguio as brought about by the Northeast Monsoon.
