Baguio temperature dipped to single digit at 9.4°C

Mother nature finally did it! Baguio City just experienced the coldest temperature (just yet this 2020) today, February 21, 2020. According to Engr. Larry Esperanza of Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA-BAGUIO), the temperature dropped to 9.4 °C as of 6 o’clock this morning.

The lowest temperature today is definitely even lower than the one recorded last February 1, 2020 at 10.6°C.

Last year, we experienced the lowest temperature at 9.8°C on January 28, 2019. Still, as of record, the coldest morning felt in the City of Pines was on January 18, 1961, when the temperature dropped to 6.3°C.
