Late February is usually the time when the temperature in Baguio City starts to rise. However, this year, this is not the case as Baguio City has recorded the lowest temperature topping the previous lowest temperature recorded in Baguio last January. Last month, the lowest temperature recorded was 9.4°C.
Just today, February 21, 2021, at 5:00 AM PAGASA Baguio recorded the lowest temperature at 9°C and a maximum temperature of 18.8°C yesterday. This however, doesn’t disregard the possibility that it could still go down. Yesterday, February 20, 2021 the temperature recorded at 5:00AM was 10.0°C but it dropped to 9.5°C at around 6:40 AM.

Not the Lowest Recorded Entirely
Nine degrees however is not the lowest temperature recorded in Baguio City. In the previous years, Baguio has experienced a temperature drop to as low as 7.3°C in 2017. The lowest recorded in Baguio City so far was on January 18, 1961 at 6.3°C.
