Baguio City is Under Low Epidemic Risk Level Based on DOH Cordillera Feb. 22 Report
Baguio City is under low epidemic risk level based on the report of the Department of Health (DOH) of the Cordillera as of Monday, February 22, 2021. This update was just recently provided by the Public Information Office of the City of Baguio and the Philippine Information Agency of Baguio City through separate Facebook posts.
According to PIO and PIA Baguio, the City of Baguio has logged -7% two-week growth change and 6.39 average daily attack rate (per 100,000 population).
The two-week growth rate, as explained in PIA Baguio’s report, is the number of COVID-19 cases of an area for the past two weeks. The average daily attack rate, on the other hand, was defined as the number of cases over a two-week period divided by the population of the local government unit.
Meanwhile, BLISTT (Baguio, La Trinidad, Itogon, Sablan, Tuba, and Tublay), is also said to be under the low risk. It has -33% two-week growth change and 4.71 average daily attack rate.
