Areas in Buyacaon, Buguias on Temporary Lockdown Effective Today

Buguias Mayor Ruben Tinda-an has issued Executive Order No. 37, series of 2020 placing the Bantic Building and its nearby premises at Lower Bekes, Buyacaoan in the Municipality of Buguias on temporary lockdown effective 2:00 PM today, September 15, 2020, until further notice.

The following areas were placed on lockdown after a resident of Bantic Building which was swabbed at the Municipal Triage last September 10 tested positive.

As the areas in Buyacaon, Buguias were placed on temporary lockdown, the following must be strictly observed:

• Immediate implementation of proper quarantine protocols at the Bantic, Building, Bekes, Buyacaoan, Buguias, effective September 15, 2020, until further notice, and that all persons whom the confirmed cases have contracted with, be properly identified and accounted by the municipality’s Contact Tracing Team.
• Confinement of all those who have direct contact with the patient.
• Movement within the critical zone and confinement zone should strictly follow health protocols while awaiting contact tracing/swabbed results.
• Disinfection with the area should be conducted. Further, all areas visited by the confirmed case shall be temporarily closed for disinfection immediately within 48 hours.
• All residents of nearby buildings and those within the Sitios are advised to take precautionary measures.
