Ahon Lahat, Pagkain Sapat Kontra COVID-19

The distribution of vegetable seedlings is part of DA’s initiative called the Ahon Lahat, Pagkain Sapat Kontra COVID-19 (ALPAS), otherwise known as the 4P. The agency came up with ALPAS in response to its mandate to “ensure a food-secure Philippines much more in time of the health emergency period”.

This program aims to distribute vegetable seedlings in areas within the Central Business District where residents have limited areas for planting but can use alternatives such as small containers.

A Collaboration of DA Laboratory Divisions

Through the collaborative effort by the different laboratory divisions of DA, the seedlings of short-seasoned vegetables were produced and now distributed.
