Walking up or down Session Road? Stay on the “right” side, according to Police

With the General Community Guidelines (GCQ) in place, the City Government is devising additional guidelines that will help the city ease into the new normal and while still supporting COVID-19 health protocols. One of which is a new “traffic” guideline released by the Traffic Management Unit of the Baguio City Police Office today.

To maintain social distancing in the Central Business District (CBD), starting Monday, May 16, 2020, all Pedestrians GOING UP Session Road will take the RIGHT sidewalk of the Road ONLY while the opposite lane sidewalk (Left) will be for Pedestrians Going down ONLY. This means that those who want to go to the opposite direction are not allowed to counterflow and shall take the nearest pedestrian crossing and go the correct lane.
