Two Barangays in Baguio City Under Lockdown Effective Today


Two of the recent COVID-19 Case in Baguio City has been found out to be residents of Barangay Middle Quezon Hill and Barangay BGH Compound. As standard procedure, the office of the City Mayor has issued a lockdown order said two barangays effective today, July 17, 2020.

The purpose of the lockdown is to facilitate contact tracing and disinfection of the area. This is also to ensure the safety and security of the residents who may have come in contact with the patients.

As a result of the lockdown, the following will be implemented:

  • Home Quarantine Pass / Mall and Market Schedule Cards are suspended
  • Residents may access basic needs through the barangay satellite market or available rolling stores or they could coordinate with their barangay officials.
  • Exit and Entry to these areas are restricted to APOR’s and those with medical emergencies.
