Two Barangays in Baguio City on Lockdown

Two barangays in Baguio City, San Vicente and Poliwes, have been placed under lockdown tonight, May 29, 2020, effective at 7:00 PM.

Reason for the Lockdown

According to Mayor Benjamin Magalong, they found out that the barangays have not been observing General Community Quarantine (GCQ) rules.

It is already the second time for the Barangay San Vicente to be sealed off while it is the first for Poliwes.

Lockdown on Other Areas Lifted

On the other hand, lockdown orders for Purok 7, Pinsao Proper and Purok 6, Dontogan has already been lifted by the mayor.
