Summary of Official CARAA 2019 Results

The City of Pines keeps its crown as the Baguio E-lions dominated the recently concluded Cordillera Administrative Region Athletic Association (Caraa) meet 2019 held at the Apayao Sport and Eco-Tourism Center in Payanan, Luna in Apayao province .

Reuben David Supeña, who got seven medals in Archery, and Juliana Megara Conlu, who won six medals in swimming on the other hand, led the delegation in winning the regional meet this year.

In the end, Baguio City took pride in bringing home 205 gold medals, 110 silvers and 79 bronze.

However, the Apayao Eagles were the ones who made the greatest leap during this year’s regional sports meet. From landing in fifth place the previous year, the delegation has now won 2nd Place with 69 gold, 76 silvers and 79 bronze medals.

Abra Stallions have also showcased great performance after ending with a higher rank this year. The Stallions won 3rd place with 39 gold, 48 silvers and 88 bronze medals.

Benguet Stingers, with a sweeping performance in Football (Elementary Division), landed in 4th place, taking home 35 gold medals, 66 silvers and 83 bronze.

Next in line are the Ifugao Builders at 5th place with 27-48-70; Mountain Province Brave Highlanders at 6th place with 16-25-44; Tabuk City Brewers at 7th place with 12-29-37 and Kalinga Bulls at 8th place with 6-6-20.

Special Games Results

Benguet delegation dominated the special games winning 14 gold, 19 silvers and 13 bronze medals while Tabuk City followed in 2nd place with 13-8-7. On the other hand, Baguio landed in 3rd place with 12-9-13 followed by Mt. Province finishing fourth with 1-4-3.
