Special Permit for Delivery And Errand Services

[Update as of Tuesday, May 5, 2020]

The Public Information – City of Baguio has published an advisory stating that beginning on tomorrow, May 7, 2020, the Permits and Licensing Division will stop processing Special Permit applications for delivery or errand services. Hence, applicants only have until today, May 6, 2020 to apply for a Special Permit.

Special Permit Application

Baguio City is now accepting Special Permit Applications for Delivery or errand services and businesses with existing permits. Interested delivery or errand service and business owners who would like to add delivery or errand services to their current line of business may proceed to the Permits and Licensing Office of Baguio City Hall. This is according to the announcement published by the Public Information Office – City of Baguio, just today, May 4, 2020.

Special Permit Validity

These Special Permits are valid until the end of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) or the General Community Quarantine (GCQ), whichever shall apply, still based on the PIO Baguio’s announcement. Business taxes, on the other hand, shall be assessed accordingly.

Special Permit Application Requirements

Here are the following requirements for the Special Permit Application for those who would like to put up a delivery or errand services and for those who would want to add delivery or errand services to their current line of business:

Without Business Permit

  1. Barangay Certification that applicant has sufficient space for vehicle parking at place of business
  2. Copy of vehicle OR/CR
  3. Copy of vehicle Driver’s Licence
  4. Special Business Permit Application Form

 

With Business Permit (to add delivery/errand services only)

  1. Barangay Certification that applicant has sufficient space for vehicle parking at place of business
  2. Copy of vehicle OR/CR
  3. Copy of vehicle Driver’s Licence
  4. Special Business Permit Application Form
  5. Existing Business Permit
