Sitio Cabacab in Mankayan Records New COVID-19 Case




Through a public advisory, the Mayor’s Office of Mankayan, Benguet has revealed earlier this afternoon of September 3, 2020 (Thursday), that the Provincial Health Office has informed them that a 26-year-old male resident of Paat, Sitio Cabacab, Brgy. Balili has tested positive of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The said COVID-19 patient was admitted on August 30, 2020 due to the primary impression of typhoid fever. Currently, the patient is confined to Luis Hora Memorial Regional Hospital.

A Lockdown has been Placed

As of 2:00 PM today, the immediate vicinity of the residence and neighboring houses of patient are have been placed under lockdown for the contact tracing.

In the meantime, while contact tracing is being undertaken, all the residents of Sitio Cabacab requested to stay home. Unnecessary movements and travels outside the sitio are also discouraged.
