Province of Apayao Recorded 4 New COVID-19 Cases

The Province of Apayao has recorded four (4) new confirmed COVID-19 cases today, August 13, 2o2o. This update has been reported by the Provincial Government of Apayao as of the afternoon.

Apayao New COVID-19 Cases

Here are the details about the said new cases in the province:

A two (2) year-old male

• A first-level contact of PHApayao25
• A resident of San Jose Flora
• The sixth (6th) in the municipality

A 52-year old male

• A Provincial Security Guard stationed at the Amma Jadsac District Hospital in Pudtol
• A resident of Tanglagan, Calanasan

A 16-year old male

• A student
• A Locally Stranded Individual (LSI) from Tuguegarao City
• A resident of Ninoy Aquino, Calanasan

A 25-year old male

• A construction worker
• A Locally Stranded Individual (LSI) from Tublay, Benguet
• A resident of Namaltugan, Calanasan

Contact Tracing Efforts

Those who had contacts and interactions with the index cases during the last two (2) weeks are encouraged by the Provincial Government of Apayao to come forward and coordinate with the rural health units of Flora and Calanasan.
