NASA’s Perseverance Rover Launches to Mars Today; Here’s How You Can Get a Boarding Pass to Mars




Ever dreamt of flying not just to another country but to another planet?

While not everyone can physically be bound to outer space in just snap, you and anyone else can at least be part of National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)’s mission by sending your name to the Red Planet. That’s right, you got a chance to send your name on NASA’s future mission to Mars.

NASA Mars 2020 Mission

This thrilling opportunity to join Mars 2020 Mission has been announced by NASA way back on May 21, 2019 and those who managed to register from that until September 30, 2019 have their Scheduled Departure set on July 2020.

And guess what? Today, July 30, 2020, is the day the Mars 2020 Perseverance rover with the names of participants, is set to launch. The Mars 2020 Perseverance rover is expected to touch down at Jezero Crater, Mars on February 18, 2021.

How does it work, you ask? All you have to do is to register at https://mars.nasa.gov/participate/send-your-name/future to get your free boarding pass. Then your name, among over a million names and counting, will be set to launch to Mars on July 2026, midway through the decade.
