Lower Boted, Tawang, La Trinidad placed under Extreme ECQ



La Trinidad Mayor Romeo Salda has issued an executive order placing Lower Boted, Tawang, La Trinidad under Extreme Enhanced Community Quarantine (EECQ) starting today, April 21, 2020, 1:00 PM until further notice.

Previously, the municipality released several EOs which resulted to a 19-day period of not having new cases of COVID-19. However, a resident of Lower Boted has tested postive with the disease today hence the EECQ.

Based on the EO No. 23 s. Of 2020, the following will be observed in Lower Boted for the duration of the EECQ:

  1. This EECQ will be strictly implemented by the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station in coordination with Barangay Tawang officials;
  2. Residents will NOT be allowed to go out of their homes even on an errand for essential goods;
  3. Relief packs from the Municipality, through the MSWDO, will be distributed to the affected residents;
  4. Stores located within the area will NOT be allowed to open

These measures, according to the EO, will be done to prevent the further spread of the virus and for an efficient contact tracing.

  • No stopping of vehicles on the road
