Lockdown over Ambuklao, Bokod now lifted

Through Executive Order No. 042, Series 2020, Mayor Thomas Wales, Jr. has ordered to lift the lockdown over Barangay Ambuklao, Bokod, Benguet effective 8:00 PM yesterday, July 7, 2020.

According to the same Executive Order, there is a need to lift the lockdown over Ambuklao, considering the preventive measures already taken by the municipal government and the said barangay.

Previously, last July 5, 2020, Ambuklao, Bokod, Benguet was placed under lockdown after the municipality recorded its 4th COVID-19 case who is a resident of the said barangay.

Under EO No. 042, series 2020, it was also mentioned that when Barangay Ambuklao was placed under lockdown, preventive measures such as disinfection, contact tracing, swab testing of close contacts, advising those who need to undergo fourteen-day quarantine and provision of personal protective equipment (PPEs) and basic necessities to the most affected families were conducted.
