HOW TO GET THERE:
The BenCab Museum is one of the most awesome museums in our country today. Going to this location is pretty easy. Again, just go to Abanao Square. Go right to Zandueta St. and go left, just walk until the end of the street (You should already be near Baguio City’s market) . There you will see a line-up of Jeepneys going to Asin! Just tell the driver to drop you off at Bencab as it’s usually the last stop for some jeepneys.
WHAT TO DO:
Baguio City has more to offer its visitors! Not just the cool weather, beautiful scenery, and plenty of restaurants. If you’re looking for a more culturally enriching experience or maybe just to see something different, you are in the right place. The BenCab is pure “eyegasm”, and a feast for to the senses. BenCab houses our National Artist Ben Cabrera’s art collection in a four-level building. This is also where BenCab resides and where his actual workshop is located. Exhibits of exciting contemporary artists in Manila can be found here, too. It features all forms of art, from the contemporary, Tribal Cordilleran Art, sculptures, even the building itself is a fine work of art. The cafe found inside of BenCab serves good food. The Cafe offers a homey vibe with its colorful, lovely interiors, and a stunning view of the garden. You can also stroll around the garden and take a peek on the man made duck pond!
