Japanese Film Festival 2020 to be Held Online for Free, See the Schedule Here

In 2016, the Japanese Film Festival (JFF) project was launched for ten (10) ASEAN countries and Australia. It was held by the Japan Foundation to promote Japanese film worldwide.

And for this year, 2020, the JFF will go online as the Japan Foundation announced that in addition to in-person JFF events, they will hold a “JFF Plus: Online Festival” for online viewing in twenty (20) countries.

The question is, is the Philippines among the countries part of this highly-anticipated film festival? Here’s the good news, the answer is yes! The Philippines, along with Malaysia and Thailand, is the first group of host countries that can watch more than twenty Japanese films for free from November 20 – 29, 2020.
