LinkedIn Data Reveals the Top 15 Jobs On the Rise in the US, See the List

LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network with hundreds of million members in over 200 countries worldwide, has recently released a report, listing the top fifteen (15) jobs that are on the rise.

Andrew Seaman, the Senior Editor for Job Search & Careers at LinkedIn made the said list public just on January 12, 2021. “To help connect people with available opportunities, we analyzed the data to find which jobs are in demand now,” said Seaman. He added that the data are meant to help people find an available “path” in such confusing times.

To begin with, Seaman introduced LinkedIn’s list by explaining how they identified the 15 jobs they have listed.

“To identify these “Jobs on the Rise,” we looked at the roles experiencing the highest year-over-year growth between April and October 2020. We then grouped that data into 15 job areas for you to investigate, which each capture a range of specific but related job titles,” he unraveled.

Note, however, that the study is made in the US so the jobs listed by LinkedIn might not be the exact same jobs that are currently in demand in the other countries, including the Philippines.

1. Professionals on the Frontlines of E-Commerce

Hiring for these roles grew 73% year-over-year. There are over four hundred thousand (400,000) jobs available.
