La Trinidad Allows Motorcycle Backriding. Here are the Protocols




The Municipality of La Trinidad is already allowing Motorcycle Backriding, provided that protocols are being observed. This has been announced by the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station (MPS) today (Monday), August 24, 2020 highlighting the Motorcycle Backriding Protocols to be followed.

NTF Approved Transition Protocol on Motorcycle Backriding

  • For riders living in the same house
    • No need for motorcycle barrier
    • Rider and passenger must present a valid government ID or Barangay Certification
      • As proof that they are resident of the same address

  • For riders NOT living in the same house
    • Must have Angkas designed barriers
  • Motorcycle must be privately owned and not for hire
  • Both riders should have face masks and helmets with full-faced visor
    • Face masks and helmets with full-faced visor must be worn all the time while back riding

Also, note that riders are still expected to comply with existing traffic rules and regulations.
