Iconic Swan Boats from Baguio City reach Flooded Municipality in Cagayan



Vivian Celso, a boat owner in Baguio City, has sent Swan Boats and Pontoon Boats to the flood-stricken province of Cagayan. The province was among the areas in the country which were recently hit by Typhoon Ulysses.

“Baguio City boat owner Vivian Celso through the Baguio City Police Office sent four swan and pontoon boats to Cagayan as her way of contributing to the rescue effort in flood-affected communities.”

Based on the separate reports published by the PIA Cordillera and the Public Information Office of the City of Baguio on Thursday, November 19, 2020, the Swan Boats have reached the Municipality of Amulung in Cagayan and were used as transportation for residents in Barangay Anquiray and Barangay Apollo.

“The boats also serve as recreation for the children who had traumatic experiences during the flooding,” stated the PIA Cordillera and PIO Baguio.
