Here are the Baguio City Transportation Guidelines for the Yuletide Season




A transportation advisory containing some guidelines for the Yuletide Season has been released by the Public Information Office of the City of Baguio today (Wednesday), December 23, 2020.

According to the PIO Baguio, the “TRANSPORTATION ADVISORY FOR THE YULETIDE SEASON DECEMBER 24-25, 29-31, 2020 AND JANUARY 01, 2021” was prepared by the Baguio Traffic and Transportation Technical Working Group.

The Transportation Guidelines

Here are the following transportation guidelines to be implemented for the Yuletide Season from DECEMBER 24-25, 29-31, 2020 AND JANUARY 01, 2021 as agreed by the Baguio Traffic and Transportation Technical Working Group in coordination with the Baguio City Police Office:

Public Utility Jeepneys

  • ALL Baguio PUJ units are allowed to operate except for Trancoville and Aurora Hill Routes
  • Trancoville and Aurora Hill Routes are only allowed 100 units each to ply within the City
  • PUJs are allowed to operate from 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight Monday to Sunday
    • Provided, they carry only up to the allowed seating capacity

Taxis

  • Starting December 24, 2020, the following transportation schedule for TAXI UNITS ONLY will be implemented:

Date and Numbers Allowed

  • Dec 24  (THU) –  ALL
  • Dec 25 (FRI) – ALL
  • Dec 26 (SAT) – 1,3,5,7,9
  • Dec 27 (SUN) – 2,4,6,8,0
  • Dec 28 (MON) – 1,3,5,7,9
  • Dec 29 (TUE) – ALL
  • Dec 30 (WED) – ALL
  • Dec 31 (THU) – ALL
  • Jan 01 (FRI) – 2,4,6,8,0


The Baguio Traffic and Transportation Technical Working Group also reminded the public, through their advisory that all the transportation protocols as enumerated on the December 2020 Traffic and Transportation Guidelines are still in effect.
