Hard Lockdown over One Barangay Lifted, Provisional Lockdown Remains in Some Puroks



One Baranagay on Hard Lockdown Lifted

The hard lockdown over Barangay Sto. Niño-Slaughter has been lifted by Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong through the Memorandum No. 397, Series of 2020, issued earlier this morning of Monday, October 5, 2020.

Puroks on Provisional Lockdown

However, provisional lockdown remains for the following  puroks:

  • Purok Greenhills
  • Purok Divisoria
  • Purok Tondo
  • Purok Ayala-A
  • Purok Ayala-B

Entry and Exit Restricted to the Following Persons

Based on the memorandum, the entry and exit into the granular lockdown areas shall be restricted to the following persons, provided that they are not symptomatic and have not had any flu-like symptoms in the past ten (10) days:

  • Barangay officials
  • Health care workers
  • Social workers
  • Uniformed personnel
  • Emergency response service providers
  • Cargo and logistic services
  • Employees of government offices and private establishments
    • With indispensable functions
    • Mandated to physically report for work
  • Persons authorized by Barangay officials to procure food and other basis necessities for residents
  • Utilities of water, electricity, telecommunications and waste management
  • Members of the Media
  • Personnel of security agencies

Other Persons to be Let Through Secured Checkpoints

  • Persons with medical appointments
  • Persons with Medical Emergencies

Other Reminders

  • Stores, satellite markets, and establishments inside the granular  lockdown areas shall be closed for the duration of the lockdown
  • No construction activities shall be allowed
    • Except for emergency construction works
  • Residents who need to access basic necessities are directed to coordinate with barangay officials
