According to NBC News, it was Mike Bowers, a gem collector from California, who posted online the video of the rock. “Cookie Monster agate from Brazil,” stated Mike Bowers’ viral video post.
The NBC News reported that Bowers has received offers of over $10,000 for the Cookie Monster look-alike rock, but Bowers plans to keep it. “At this point, we are keeping the stone,” he told NBC News.
