BENECO: Meter Reading Activities Scheduled in Lockdown Areas Temporarily Suspended




The Benguet Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BENECO) has issued Advisory No. 25 for the Meter Reading Activities in Areas Declared as Lockdown.

According to the advisory, the meter reading activities scheduled in areas placed under lockdown due to COVID-19 in Baguio City and in the Province of Benguet will be temporarily suspended while the lockdown is in effect to ensure everyone’s safety.


Furthermore, everyone is advised about the following:

  • Meter reading activities shall be done after the lifting of the lockdown of the said areas or during the next reading cycle.
  • All consumers whose bills are due within the declaration of a lockdown shall be given an additional three (3) working days after the lifting of the lockdown to settle their obligation without the imposition of surcharges.
