Barangay Viewpoint of Banaue, Ifugao under temporary Lockdown







Banaue Vice Mayor Donald Mongolnon signed Executive Order No. 34, series of 2020 yesterday ordering the total lockdown of Barangay Viewpoint, residence of  the second confirmed COVID-19 case of Banaue, effective July 28, 2020 until further notice.

Lockdown Orders

  • Barangay Viewpoint is on lockdown with the prohibition of entry and exit of its residents.
  • Unnecessary entry of persons from other barangays to Barangay Viewpoint are prohibited, except:
    • Health workers for and from duty.
    • Authorized government officials and health workers.
    • Those travelling for medical and humanitarian reasons especially to hospitals and clinics with proper coordination with the Municipal Health Office of Banaue.
  • All other forms of travel from the foregoing shall be prohibited.
    • In all the foregoing, persons who are allowed entry and exit shall be required to register at the border at Mt.Polis and at the barangay boundary of Viewpoint and Poblacion, Banaue for records purposes and proper monitoring.
  • Considering that the National Highway traverses Viewpoint, motorists passing through/ in transit shall be allowed provided that there shall be no stopping over at any area in Barangay Viewpoint.
